There are 2 types of membership:-
- Registered Member
- Full Member
What types of membership are available?
Registered Membership is free and has the following available:
- Access to most areas.
- Can choose to have an email forwarding address, which passes on any email sent to
the forwarding address to your own private email address.
An example of an email forwarder is when email is sent to <Name>@cagivaelefant.com the email will end up at your current email address.
Full Membership is a donation of 30 Euros for a 3 year membership and has the following points available:
- The membership runs in calendar years from January to December but any member joining
during 2009 will receive the remaining portion of 2009 free.
- Access to all areas.
- Full member can choose to have the email forwarder chosen at registration converted
into a webmail email address, accessible anywhere in the world through the www.
- To keep our special Elefants going after all these years requires some dedication
on your part and access to information for us all which is where the website comes
in. There are a number of bikes out there unregistered or falling in to disrepair.
The CEC website allows us to collate the vital information about our machines, more
specifically manufacturing dates, members location details so when we visit other
areas we can meet up and help each other out, have a drink or just have a chat.
This information is private and will be kept as such and can only be accessed by
a member. Some detail, like VIN numbers will not be displayed except to the member
who owns the bike. However the database will lookup to give you manufacture dates
of bikes with VIN numbers on either side of yours so that you can find out when
your unregistered bike was built etc.
- Full Member has access to the parts catalogues available either on-line or
for download your choice.
- Full Member can have his / her own webpage/s available to logged in members only
so details are not picked up by robots.
