2008 European Treffen
This years 8th annual Cagiva Elefant meeting (treffen) was a great success. All of our thanks must go to the event organisers so thank you to To@ne and his team. There were many great bikes to see some turned out immaculately like Ricci from Italy not to mention the 1 of only 2 ever built 80's stye Paris Dakar factory specials. The event was graced with a few lady riders, even one who flew over especially from the USA, we hope you enjoyed it Marijke. This year a new trophy was donated by Roy Armstrong from Italsport and as was his wish the Trophy was to honour the efforts of Alex Fischer who is sadly no longer with us but in spirit. The trophy is to to be awarded each year to the elefant rider who shows the "Spirit of the Elefant". This year the trophy has been awarded to Flyben for his undaunting efforts in helping riders repair their steeds and get to the event safely. Well done Flyben and we all thank you.
