The Event of 2004
The event went smoothly but as the organiser I did not have enough time to spend with everyone. My wife Ronelle was a great ambassador for me and she has my greatest gratitude. I must mention that for any future events the organisers should appoint a person whose sole responsibility is to meet and greet everyone and see to their needs. Here are a few images that I have and perhaps some of the riders will send me some to put up on this page.
Special mention must go to Roy Armstrong and Italsport for the billet alternator covers and to Gavin Blackman alias the "Cookie Monster" for his support at the event. Thanks also to Paul & Bill from the Sothern Softies Big Trail Bike Club for running interference on the ride out. We had 86 bikes on a ride out for 2 hours culminating at the famous Brooklands Museum.
